Not only environmentalists, botanists, zoologists, chemists, druggists, scientists and others, but also the common man and rulers are also worry about the increasing threats to our environment, which is developed in millions of years. For that basic knowledge about plants, and environment, their uses is essential.For mass involvement and create public awareness to protect our environment, Supreme Court of India has directed the University Grants Commission to introduce the environmental studies subject at undergraduate level and implemented in all the states of India. The science and technologies had developed so much but threats are ahead.For these cause the plants are needed and their correct botanical name is important.Similarly their biochemistry must be known.

The author presently working at J.B.College ofScience, wardha(M.S.),having experience of 25 years,has guided 11 projects, published 30 research papersin International journals and attended 25 nationaland International Conferences,At present hasguiding 5 students for Ph.D degree and 2 studentshave been submitted their works for Doctor degree.
