The Ionosphere and its Transient Variations

This book supplements information on ionosphere and the propagation of radio wave in and through the ionosphere particularly during the time of transient variations. The monograph is intended to help the advanced students to understand the theories, their applications and advancement in the field of wave propagation and operation of radio communication systems influenced by the ionosphere at prevalent tropospheric and upper atmospheric conditions. Prof. A. B. Bhattacharya did his PhD from the University of Calcutta and Post-doc from MIT, USA. He has published about 200 research papers and sixteen text and reference books for science and engineering students. Jyotirmoy Pandit did his M.Sc. from Jadavpur University and has published 20 research papers in the field of Radio Wave Propagation.
